The company is engaged in the exploration and mining of uranium at the №2 site of the Budenovskoe deposit, located in the South-Kazakhstan region. Uranium mining is carried out by the method of in-situ leaching.
Akbastau JSC JV
Joint Venture Akbastau JSC was founded on November 3, 2006.
Shareholders: NAC Kazatomprom JSC and Uranium One Amsterdam B.V.
The main activity of JV Akbastau JSC is the operation of sites Nos. 1, 3 and 4 of Budyonnovskoe uranium deposit, located in South Kazakhstan region. Uranium is mined through the in-situ leaching method.
Semizbai-U LLP
Semizbai-U Limited Liability Partnership was established on December 12, 2006.
Stakeholders: NAC Kazatomprom JSC and Beijing Sino-Kaz Uranium Resources Company Ltd
The company extracts uranium using in-situ leaching on the Irkol deposit in the Kyzylorda region and at the Semizbay deposit in the North Kazakhstan and Akmola regions.

JV Inkai LLP was established in March 1996.
Founders: NAC Kazatomprom JSC and Cameco Corporation (Canada).
Inkai JV LLP produces uranium using ISL method at Inkai field of Turkestan region.
APPAK LLP
APPAK Limited Liability Partnership was founded on July 14, 2005.
Stakeholders: NAC Kazatomprom JSC, Sumitomo Corporation and The Kansai Electric Power Corporation.
APPAK LLP extracts uranium at the Western site of Mynkuduk deposit in the Turkestan region using in-situ leaching method.
