Chief Executive Officer of NAC Kazatomprom JSC (“Kazatomprom” or “the Company”) Mazhit Sharipov made a working visit to uranium mining enterprises located in Kyzylorda and Turkestan regions from April 18 to 20.
The head of the Company visited the production sites of RU-6 LLP, Kazatomprom-SaUran LLP, JV KATCO LLP, a branch of TTC LLP, branches of GTZ and GRE-5 of Volkovgeology JSC, the Irkol mine of Semizbay-U LLP, familiarized himself with working and living conditions of shift workers, and met with labor collectives.
Mazhit Sharipov expressed gratitude to all employees of the Company and noted that their solidarity, mutual support, and professionalism helped ensure the continuity of the production activities of the nuclear holding during the pandemic and the January events.
The well-being, safety and health of employees has always been and will remain a core value of Kazatomprom. The company continues to carry out systematic work to create decent working conditions and remuneration for personnel. In order to provide employees of all subsidiaries and affiliates with quality protective clothing in a timely manner, a uniform standard of protective clothing is being introduced. Work is also underway to improve the quality of food for production personnel and the quality of medical care (unification of health insurance packages for employees of subsidiaries and affiliates).
As a result of the working visit, the head of Kazatomprom instructed to continue work aimed at improving the well-being and working conditions of the staff of subsidiaries and affiliates, as well as at meeting production and financial indicators.
