Founders: NAC Kazatomprom JSC, Kyzylkum LLP, Karatau LLP, JV Betpak Dala LLP, JV Inkai LLP, Appak LLP, Baiken-U LLP, Akbastau JSC, PE Ortalyk LLP.

The main activities of Uranenergo LLP are the transmission and distribution of electricity, operation of electrical grids and substations. The company was established to ensure reliable and uninterrupted power supply to uranium mining enterprises of NAC Kazatomprom JSC.

Taukent-Energoservice LLP and Shieli-Energoservice LLP, providing heat-water-power supply and water discharge for the villages of Taukent, Kyzemshek, Kok-Shoky and nearby uranium mining companies, became parts of Uranenergo LLP in 2008.
