KNU achievements from 2004 till now
40 leaders of new joint ventures trained;
about 40 000 of employees of the Company's enterprises have improved their qualifications
more than 80% of training provided on the job
162 students from Satpayev Kazakh National Technical University and other Kazakhstani universities were trained in the industry and distributed to uranium mining joint ventures.
Core activities of the University:
- training, retraining and advanced training of workers, engineering and management personnel, including special training of personnel responsible for nuclear and radiation safety.
- Evaluation of the training level of NAC Kazatomprom JSC personnel;
- Specialized training of future employees for the enterprises of NAC Kazatomprom JSC;
- Coordination of educational and methodological work of educational institutions training specialists for the nuclear industry;

Kazakh Nuclear University was founded in September 2004 in the form of a limited liability partnership (order of the President of NAC Kazatomprom JSC No. 59 dated 03/01/2004). Since April 2016, it has been a branch of the Institute for High Technologies LLP.
